🌸 Happy Midsummer Dear Fam 🌸 Today we will be celebrating Swedish Midsummer! It is an occasion of joy, music, tradition, & community. To celebrate this day with you, we have a bonus of 100 Fan Power waiting in the Midsummer Mission! Some Swedish Midsummer Facts! 1️⃣ Midsummer, known as "Midsommar," is a cherished holiday in Sweden, celebrated on the weekend closest to the summer solstice. 2️⃣ A key tradition during Midsummer is the creation and raising of the maypole, called "midsommarstång" or "majstång." It's a colorful sight adorned with flowers and leaves, where we gather to sing traditional songs & dance around it. 3️⃣ Let's not forget the delectable feasting that accompanies Midsummer! We'll savor traditional dishes like pickled herring, boiled potatoes with dill, sour cream, and chives. And of course, no Midsummer celebration is complete without fresh strawberries & cream.
